Pastor Charley Watts
Pastor Charley is a Florida native and was born in the town of Wauchula, Florida and grew up in Ft. Ogden.
Joining us in 2019, Pastor Charley and his wife, Toni, moved from his church in Moore Haven, Florida where he pastored First UMC of Moore Haven for 9 years.
Originally starting his career in the funeral industry Pastor Charley was licensed as a pastor in 2005 when he started leading Venus UMC. After 5 years of service at Venus, Charley saw that his full time job as a Crematory manager was getting in the way of his true calling as a minister.
In 2010 Pastor Charley, also known as PC, passed the United Methodist Boards and began a two point charge as a full time pastor at Venus UMC and First UMC of Moore Haven. We are so thankful that PC has brought his passion, love for people, and love for the immutable Word of God. Mims Methodist Church is excited to have Pastor Charley for as long as the Lord allows.
